More Client Experiences with Grey Paws
Dr. Kori has provided treatment for our special needs pups over the last five years. Her knowledge, care and compassion puts me and our dogs at ease. Dr. Kori’s extensive knowledge of rehabilitation and expertise in acupuncture has been a crucial component for the care of our special needs pack: Rehabilitation and an extensive treatment plan for our disabled English Bulldog puppy with Spina Bifida and post surgical rehabilitation after knee surgeries for our English Bulldog with Spina Bifida.
Acupuncture provided great relief for our senior Rottweiler with Wobblers disease, and has helped our dogs with cancer to cope with the side effects of chemotherapy.

Our 12-year old Boston Terrier, Millie, became a patient of Dr. Kori Dreitlein’s at "Grey Paws" to help regain her core and leg strength, as well as her balance and flexibility, after having a stroke and subsequent seizures. It was immediately apparent that Dr. Kori was not only knowledgeable and competent in her field, but that she cared very deeply for her patients. Very importantly, she knew the modalities to use, and the modalities not to use for our dog’s condition. In a short time, Dr. Kori touched our lives deeply. Millie immediately benefitted from the physical and mental stimulation of the exercise regimen and to the doctor's loving nature; in turn, she loved Dr. Kori.
Dr. Kori taught me how to do small but very effective exercises that gave our little dog a quality of life that we otherwise could not have hoped she would have in the last months of her life. It was joyful for us to see Millie regain some strength, and to be able to walk without assistance. It would not have happened to the successful degree it did without Dr. Kori. An extra bonus was that Millie seemed to really enjoy the exercises. Dr. Kori was careful to not overdo the exercise regimen, and she was very respectful of Millie’s primary veterinary care.
Dr. Kori always followed up promptly with sending the exercise instructions, and immediately responded to any questions I had. She would suspend exercises and introduce others as needed to benefit our ‘little girl'. It was particularly comforting that Dr. Kori would periodically send an e-mail to inquire about her, and to ask if I had any questions. Dr. Kori is a rare person who emanates compassion, kindness, and love for her animal patients, and those who love them. It is apparent that she has unparalleled dedication to serve both animals and their families, and to give them a better quality of life as they age, or recover from a physical challenge.

Mitzi has multiple orthopedic issues and Dr Kori has been careful to properly identify them and target accordingly with creative, doable regimens. Her knowledge of anatomy and general canine health is impressive. She is very thorough and genuinely passionate about helping animals feel better. On many occasions, Dr. Kori has taken time to discuss options and expected outcomes with me and helped me weigh decisions about what was best for Mitzi.
